Prior to launching his career in the energy sector, Paul Prager attended the United States Naval Academy (USNA) and served on active duty in the Navy for five years. In addition to his current duties as chairman and CEO of Beowulf Energy LLC, Paul Prager continues to support the military and his alma mater as a member of the USNA Foundation Board of Directors.
As the Naval Academy's primary fundraising body, the USNA Foundation generates an average of $25 million each year to support the Academy. Alumni and friends interested in advancing the Foundation's efforts can support the organization in a number of ways.
In addition to welcoming one-time financial donations of any size, the Foundation offers various planned giving options for those who would like to make the Naval Academy part of their estate plan. The organization also accepts matching gifts and oversees special tribute programs that give individuals the opportunity to support the Academy while honoring alumni, family, and friends. Individuals can direct their donations to specific academic priorities, athletic and scholarship programs, or the Naval Academy Annual Fund, which advances the Academy's educational programs and supports various alumni activities.
Along with offering its giving programs, the USNA Foundation encourages Academy alumni, parents, and friends to join a local USNA chapter or parent club or get involved with the USNA Alumni Association. Alumni can also volunteer for the Alumni Association's Mentoring Program. Additional information about the program and other ways to support the USNA is available at www.usna.com/support-the-academy.
