Offering an award-winning selection of wines, Bas Rouge received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2017 in recognition of its outstanding collection of European and Austrian wines.

Wine Spector’s Restaurant Awards honor restaurants with wine lists that feature thoughtful selections, appeal to a broad range of customers, and pair appropriately with the restaurant’s cuisine. The Restaurant Awards consist of three levels: the Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence, and the Grand Award.
Judges typically present the Award of Excellence in recognition of wine lists that feature at least 90 selections from a variety of quality producers. Additionally, the list should thematically match wines in price and style and give wine enthusiasts sufficient choices for dining out.
